It’s not easy being green…or is it?

The National Technology Readiness Survey (NTRS) has tracked technology beliefs and behaviors among U.S. adults since 1999.  The NTRS is co-sponsored by the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland and is based on a representative sample of 1,025 consumers surveyed by telephone and the web.  In the past, the study has identified emerging trends such as the cost of spam, telecommuting and the role of e-government.

This Year’s Green Theme.  The 2007/8 study provides a deep dive into consumer beliefs about the environment and their convergence with technology.  The study identifies six segments of green consumers and profiles the environmental trendsetters who influence others.  The study also examines ownership and interest in green technologies and green technology behaviors.  The 2007/8 study also includes special topics on downloading and piracy, and trends in e-services.  Read More   Buy the Report
