The key staff members listed below work together, consulting on a daily basis to ensure their clients' benefit from the range of knowledge and skills the staff possesses.

 

 

 

Charles L. Colby

 

 

 

  President

 

 

Charles is the founder of Rockbridge Associates, Inc. He is a senior professional with over 20 years experience in service quality measurement, market research and marketing strategy formulation. He has designed and directed hundreds of studies for services businesses on topics like customer satisfaction, positioning and branding, segmentation, pricing, and product development. Charles directed a service quality measurement function for Citicorp, and he has also worked for premier organizations such as Opinion Research Corporation and Westat, Inc.
 
Charles has presented at numerous conferences on Technology Readiness, service quality, and Internet data collection. He co-authored the book Techno-ready Marketing with Dr. A. Parasuraman. He has taught marketing management and market research at universities, and is a Senior Fellow in the University of Maryland's Center for Excellence in Service. He has a M.B.A. from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.

 

 

 

 

Regina D. Woodall

 

 

 

  Vice President

 

 

Gina heads a team of researchers focusing in the technology and financial services sectors. She conducts research on online marketing strategies for clients with technology based products and services. Her experience in the financial services industry spans a number of products including mortgages, banking, loans, and credit cards. With more than 10 years of marketing research experience, Ms. Woodall is skilled in all aspects of research including reporting and presenting survey results, moderating focus groups, conducting in-depth statistical analysis, and designing survey instruments. Gina has a M.B.A. from George Mason University, and a B.S. in Decision Sciences and Marketing.

 

 

 

 

Dave Glantz

 

 

 

  Senior Director

 

 

Dave specializes in cross-cultural, global, technology and means-end research, and works for leading clients in the financial services and higher-education sectors. Prior to Rockbridge, Dave was Research Manager for Global Operations at Ipsos-Reid (formerly Angus Reid Group), where he was responsible for multilingual studies conducted simultaneously in up to 40 countries on topics such as global Internet penetration and e-commerce trends. He is skilled in global project management, survey design, moderating, analysis and reporting. In the research industry for nine years, Dave has been involved as well in the international business environment for over 15 years, based in Japan, Canada, and the US during that time. Dave has a M.A. in International Relations from the University of Manitoba.

 

 

 

 

Sara Farbry

 

 

 

  Research Director

 

 

Sara is experienced in all aspects of the research process, and has special expertise in data analysis. She manages large-scale global tracking studies, designs and implements survey instruments, conducts in-depth analysis, including customer segmentations and financial analyses, reports survey results, and co-moderates focus groups. Sara works for clients in the entertainment, healthcare, consumer electronics and financial industries. Sara has six years experience in marketing research, and holds a B.S. in Marketing from George Mason University.

 

 

 

 

C. Mariel Molina

 

 

 

  Research Manager

 

 

Since joining the Rockbridge team, Mariel has contributed to a variety of projects in both the quantitative and qualitative areas. She has experience working with complex data systems, moderating focus groups and in-depth interviews both in person and on the web. She has a terrific combination of technology training and interpersonal skills. Mariel is also fluent in Spanish. She came to Rockbridge after graduating from George Mason University with a B.S. in Decision Science/Management Information Systems and a minor in Information Technologies. While studying at GMU, she worked for over three years at Navy Federal Credit Union on the human resources information services team, and on a vendor management team. She hopes to begin course work in a master's degree program in the near future.

 

 

 

 

Professor A. Parasuraman

 

 

 

  Consultant

 

 

Professor Parasuraman of the University of Miami is working with Rockbridge on its Technology Readiness research, and supports Rockbridge on projects in the areas of service quality and technology attitudes. Professor Parasuraman is a leading scholar in services marketing, and has published over 300 articles and books in the academic and popular business press. He is widely known for his work with Valerie Zeithaml and Len Berry on SERVQUAL, a methodology for measuring quality for a service. He received the distinguished career award from the AMA Services Marketing Division in 1998. He is working with Mr. Colby on a book on technology marketing, to be published by The Free Press in 2000.

 

 

 

 

Deborah Colby

 

 

 

  Vice President

 

 

Debbie's responsibilities include accounts payable and internal accounting. She also serves as Rockbridge's contracts officer. Debbie has a JD from George Washington University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
